Journalism is at its best when it offers an interesting take on its subject matter while staying true to any facts being relayed. And, always, balanced in the context it covers.
Today, truth is abused and hard to rely on – balance is out. Context is skewed and vested interests easily run through everything.
I was trained in journalistic fundamentals in 2006. It’s informed every piece of communication I’ve created ever since, from newsrooms to comms strategy meetings.
My journalism is:
– Well researched with a clear source trail
- Written in the style needed
– Built on broad cross-subject knowledge
